1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing an access code, downloading the App, or using the website at thesecretsideofcyprus.com, you agree to these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
2. The Service
GRETAART STUDIO AT LTD provides The Secret Side of Cyprus — a cinematic, self-guided investigation experience delivered through a mobile application ("the App"). The first experience is called The Cyprus Case.
The experience may involve driving to and walking around real locations in Cyprus. Users must independently arrange transportation (own vehicle, rental car, or hired driver). Transportation is not included in the access code price.
3. Access Code and Licence
Each purchased access code grants one non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and complete the investigation experience once. The access code is intended for one vehicle and group per experience. Access codes may not be resold, shared publicly or used for commercial demonstration without our written permission.
4. Road Safety and User Responsibility
The safety of all participants is your responsibility. By using the App and participating in the experience, you agree to the following:
- Do not use the App while driving. All interactions with the App — including reading clues, watching videos, listening to audio, and sending messages — must be carried out by a passenger or only when the vehicle is safely parked with the engine off.
- You are fully responsible for complying with all applicable road traffic laws, speed limits, parking regulations and highway codes in Cyprus.
- You are responsible for your own safe driving, for the safety of your passengers, and for the safety of other road users and pedestrians at all times.
- You are responsible for safe parking at all investigation locations, and for your personal safety and the safety of your group while on foot.
- You must not undertake this experience while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that impairs your ability to drive safely.
5. Limitation of Liability
GRETAART STUDIO AT LTD, its directors, employees and agents, shall not be responsible or liable for:
- Any road traffic violations, fines, penalties or legal proceedings arising from your use of the App while driving or from unsafe driving behaviour
- Any road traffic accidents, vehicle damage, personal injuries or fatalities occurring during or in connection with the experience
- Loss, theft or damage to personal property during the experience
- Any personal injury, accident or harm arising from walking, parking or visiting investigation locations
- Any decisions made by the user during the experience that result in harm to themselves or others
- Delays, interruptions or technical failures in the App or content delivery beyond our reasonable control
Your use of the experience is entirely at your own risk. These exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Health and Physical Conditions
The experience involves driving and walking at outdoor locations. Participants should be in suitable physical condition to participate safely. If you have any medical conditions, mobility limitations or other health concerns, please consider whether the experience is appropriate for you before purchasing.
7. Intellectual Property
All content within the App and on the website — including video, audio, photography, text, map design, story, characters and brand identity — is the intellectual property of GRETAART STUDIO AT LTD and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Prohibited Use
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Share, distribute or publish access codes or investigation content
- Use the experience for commercial, competitive or benchmarking purposes without permission
- Interfere with the App's operation or security systems
- Misrepresent your identity or use another person's access code
9. Refund Policy
Access codes are non-refundable once delivered, unless the experience is fundamentally unavailable due to a fault on our part. For refund requests, please contact Support: support@thesecretsideofcyprus.com within 7 days of purchase. Refunds for purchases made through third-party ticketing platforms are subject to those platforms' own refund policies.
10. App Store and Google Play
The App is distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms. GRETAART STUDIO AT LTD is the developer and sole licensor of the App.
11. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue any part of the experience or website at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
